Chinese medicine processing is an important part of the motherland’s medical science. Some traditional Chinese medicines have caused changes in the physicochemical properties of medicines due to heating, flooding, and wine, enzymes, and concoctions in the concocting process, which have a significant impact on the drug’s effects and are directly related to clinical efficacy. The effect of concocting on steroid-containing drugs is briefly described below. Rhodium is a cyclic acetal derivative in which a hydroxyl group on a cyclic hemiacetal in a sugar molecule is dehydrated and condensed with a hydroxyl group in a non-sugar molecule. There are many drugs containing steroids in traditional Chinese medicines, except for those containing cesium.
