由于整体式液压动力转向装置具有结构紧凑、管路少、重量轻等优点,因此在20t级以下的自卸汽车上获得广泛应用。但是,由于这种转向装置各部配合副装配精度要求较高,并且该转向装置本身要传递很大的扭矩,同时受到来自路面的冲击力作用,所以其内部机件承受较高负荷。还有,这种车辆经常运行在粉尘大、转弯多的矿山地区,因此各配合副磨损较快,如果使用维修不当,那么将使该装置的技术状况迅速变坏。
