上海双年展上海美术馆原为跑马场会馆,纵向空间低矮,横向空间凝固,布局犹如迷宫,同今天的上海完全不协调,感觉是地下党设计的窝子,根本不适合做当代艺术。我想策划时一定大伤脑筋。个展是花钱请人捧的活动,双年展是花大钱让人骂的活动。上海双年展用“快城快客”作为标题,贴切地体现出这个快餐时代的文化品位,不过人们仍旧照骂不误。在我的眼里,这个展览的倾向是现实主义,同画布现实主义的不同之处是采用了流行的手段。从形态到观念,本次双年展都不属于地道的当代艺术。

From the form to the concept, this biennial does not belong to authentic contemporary art.
