城域网（Ｍｅｔｒｏｐｏｌｉｔａｎａｒｅａｎｅｔｗｏｒｋ，ＭＡＮ）是随着网络技术、通信技术和其他计算机技术进一步发展而出现的新型网络，非常适合于各种局域网的互连。局域网通过城域网互连有多种方案，考虑到运行效率和复杂性，并结合实际需求，本文采用透明桥接技术实现了ＩＥＥＥ８０２．３局域网通过ＩＥＥＥ８０２．６（ＤＱＤＢ）城域网的高速互连。文中着重讨论了桥接器的硬件构成、桥接算法、软件结构及其程序实现。
Metropolitan area network (MAN) is a new type of network that emerges with the further development of network technology, communication technology and other computer technologies, and is very suitable for interconnection of various local area networks. Considering the efficiency and complexity of operation, combined with practical requirements, this paper uses transparent bridging technology to achieve the IEEE802.3 LAN through IEEE802.6 (DQDB) metropolitan area network high-speed interconnection . This paper focuses on the bridge’s hardware structure, bridge algorithm, software structure and program implementation.
