吕家河是河名,也是村名。河流与村落名字合而为一,在中国地名史上并不多见。令人惊叹的是,这个叫吕家河的村落,是首次在汉民族居住区域发现的民歌村落。吕家河民歌村落是1996年被发现的。它地处武当山主峰西南的崇山峻岭中,是湖北省丹江口市官山乡的一个普普通通的山村。山大人稀,一个村落的地域面积竟有18平方公里!全村是由5个村民小组组成的,共182户,749人。目前已发掘、整理出民歌3000多首75个曲调。在村里,白天有歌声,晚上也有歌声;大人唱民歌,小孩也唱民歌。民歌是民间口头流传的歌,是民
