中国沙棘（ＨｉｐｐｏｐｈａｅｒｈａｍｎｏｉｄｅｓＬ．）对改善当地的生态环境起重要的作用。由于沙棘果实已逐步开发成饮料，食品和医药等产品，使山区农民找到了一条脱贫致富的门路。为使新建的沙棘林采用优良种源进行育苗造林，避免盲目调种，沙棘种源试验研究也就成了不可缺少的研究课题之一。其任务在于揭示中国沙棘内的一般变异规律、确立不同地区最佳种源，划分种子或种条的调拨范围、进一步为选优和优良种源进行育苗造林提供依据。
Chinese Hippophae rhamnoides L. plays an important role in improving the local ecological environment. Since the sea buckthorn fruits have been gradually developed into products such as beverages, food and medicine, peasants in mountainous areas have found a way out of poverty and becoming rich. In order to make the newly established seabuckthorn seedling with good provenance for seedling and afforestation and avoid blind adjustment, it is one of the indispensable research topics to study the seabuckthorn seed germplasm resources. Its mission is to reveal the general variation rules within the Chinese seabuckthorn, establish the best provenances in different regions, divide the allocation range of seeds or seeds, and provide the basis for seed selection and good seed breeding.
