Virtual integration is based on the concept of supply chain. In order to more effectively provide goods and services to the market, the main business entities in all aspects of the supply chain have achieved the sharing and mutual penetration of information and other resources through information technology, which has blurred the traditional boundaries between the enterprise and the enterprise. From a macro perspective, these linked companies form a larger virtual enterprise, which is called virtual integration. In order to meet the changing needs of consumers flexibly and rapidly, it is not enough to rely on the company to improve internal business processes and establish flexible production lines. In the face of increasingly virtual integration trends, companies should implement a comprehensive and systematic supplier strategy. This will enable suppliers to keep pace with their own companies and operate at a high speed to achieve the goal of improving the quality of their products (including raw materials and finished products), accelerating inventory flow, and reducing product costs.
