Objective To explore the role of nursing management in the control of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) infection. Methods From May 2015 to May 2016, 240 NICU hospitalized newborns were selected as the research group, and 240 NICU hospitalized newborns from April 2014 to April 2015 were selected as the control group. The control group to take routine NICU nursing intervention, the research group in this basis for the prevention of infection to give preventive care intervention. Results The incidence of neonatal infection during NICU treatment was 2.50% in the study group, which was lower than 6.67% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Nursing management in neonatal NICU has a significant effect of infection control, effectively reducing the probability of nosocomial infection, suitable for clinical promotion.
