为掌握甜菊的营养生长和生殖生长的一些基本资料,进行了光周期及儿种生长调节剂的效应试验。当日照长度短于14小时,甜菊就开花(图1、2)。从而认为,甜菊可看作是一种短日照开花的植物。根据详细的研究,最低限度要有两次短日照才能诱导其开花这是肯定的(图3)。而且要有4对叶片以上的植株才能诱导开花(表一)。矮壮素和 steviol 抑制甜菊的营养生长和生殖生长,而赤霉酸促进其生长(图4、5、6)。Fusicoccin 能部分消除矮壮素的抑制效应(表二)。
In order to grasp some basic information of vegetative and reproductive growth of stevia, the effects of photoperiod and growth regulators were tested. When the sunlight is shorter than 14 hours, the stevia bloom (Figure 1, 2). So that stevia can be seen as a short-day flowering plants. According to detailed studies, it is for sure that there are at least two short days of sunshine to induce its flowering (Figure 3). And to have 4 pairs of leaves above the plant can induce flowering (Table 1). Chlormequat and steviol inhibited vegetative and reproductive growth of stevia, while gibberellic acid promoted its growth (Figures 4, 5 and 6). Fusicoccin partially eliminated the inhibitory effect of CCC (Table 2).
