时间未来的概念通常是指在时间的序列上还未到来的时段以及与此关联的事物,但在与人类相关的意义上使用时,未来则隐含着人们对社会的期望。正如我们通常想要寻找现在发生事情的先决条件时必须回溯过去一样,福克纳的时间未来概念包含着内战后美国南方人的信心和勇气,这表现在他们将已知事件和现在所具有的先决条件同现实世界相结合的过程中。福克纳作品中正在进行及相关的事实决定了南方未来事件的发生,由此,其时间未来的概念包含了作为真实的未来、可能的未来和希望的未来。
The notion of the future of time usually refers to a time period that has not yet arrived in the sequence of time, and things associated with it, but when used in a human-related sense, the future implies expectations of society. As we often have to look back to the preconditions of what is going to happen now, Faulkner’s concept of the future of time embraces the confidence and courage of American southerners after the civil war, as evidenced by the fact that they have known events and what they now have Preconditions are combined with the real world. The ongoing and relevant facts in Faulkner’s work determine the occurrence of future events in the South, whereby the concept of the future of time encompasses the future as a true future, a possible future and a hope.
