Imagination is a psychological process by which people process and reconstruct past experience and existing memory appearances to form new images or concepts. Imagination plays an important role in people’s understanding of the world and the transformation of the world. Without imagination, people can not invent and can not have any foresight. In the teaching of Chinese reading, students can use imagination to present the image described in the text in their minds, so as to understand the text deeply and vividly.
