Every fire has experienced such a process of inception, development and development. Many people are puzzled by the factual significance of understanding the mechanism of such a complex process for the prevention and control of fires. Here Fan Wei Cheng said one happened in May 1987 during the Greater Khingan Range fire one thing. At that time he was just an expert on combustion science, just studying fire science. One day he saw a message broadcast on television that in order to stop the spread of the fire, the command ordered tens of thousands of reinforced PLA officers and soldiers to open up a 30-meter-wide fire retreat. Facing the TV screen, Fan Wei Cheng was in a hurry. With many years of research on combustion, he felt that this fire retreat did not stop the blazing fires at all. Sure enough, the next day’s media coverage confirmed his judgment.
