热膨胀模塑法是七十年代中期发展起来的一种复合材料成型新工艺方法。与热压罐法相比,热膨胀模塑法有其独特的性质和优点。研究这种方法的最初动机,在于降低复合材料制品的成本。事实上,热膨胀模塑法还为复合材料制品的一次固化成型创造了条件。所以,美、法、西德等国,都很重视热膨胀模塑法工艺技术的研究。用此法制造的复合材料结构件,已经应用于一些飞机上,如Ⅰ型加强机身壁板、翼肋和RPV机翼等。 热膨胀模塑法又可分为闭模法(或者称为弹性模法、“纯”热膨胀模法)和开模法。其原理和工艺介绍如下。
Thermal expansion molding is the development of the mid-seventies composite material forming a new process method. Compared with autoclave method, thermal expansion molding has its own unique properties and advantages. The initial motivation for studying this approach was to reduce the cost of the composite product. In fact, the thermal expansion molding method also creates the conditions for one-time curing of the composite product. Therefore, the United States, France, West Germany and other countries, attach great importance to thermal expansion molding process technology research. The composite structure made by this method has been applied to some aircraft such as type I reinforced fuselage panels, ribs and RPV wings. Thermal expansion molding can be divided into closed mold (or called elastic mold, “pure” thermal expansion mold) and open mold. The principle and process described below.
