外语的习得与磨蚀是一对相辅相成的概念,彼此连接不可分离,但有彼此对立存在于语言学习的连个端点。只有深入的了解语言习得才会更加科学的认识语言磨蚀,只有把语言磨蚀的观念融入到语言习得中才会使语言能力永葆青春。本文从儿童语言习得模式、语言习得的特征、社会因素在语言磨蚀中扮演的角色以及语言交际环境下语言能力的丧失与维持四方面对语言习得、语言磨蚀以及习得与磨蚀的关系进行了简要的研究和探讨。最后又对语言能力丧失的极端情况语言转移以及语言帝国主义进行了简要的介绍。
Foreign language acquisition and erosion are a pair of complementary concepts, which can not be separated from each other, but exist in opposite ends of language learning.
