近来,媒体不断报道,关系人民生命财产安全的重大事故责任者受到追究:如中石油吉林石化公司双苯厂发生重大事故,造成大量苯类污染物进入松花江水体,引发重大水环境污染事件,引起了党中央、国务院高度重视,国家环保总局局长解振华引咎辞职,其他责任人也受到应有的处罚。陕西铜川、广东兴宁等六起煤矿特别重大事故,222名责任人受到追究,陕西省原副省长巩德顺、广东省副省长游宁丰,分别受到行政记过或记大过处分。云南省元谋县民政局局长赵吉彬见死不救被开除党籍、撤销局长职务等等。笔者认为,这些责任追究得好。
