In the past, when talking about Macao, people always think of its gaming industry immediately. However, in recent years, Macao has been vigorously developing a diversified economy. The gaming industry is no longer the only reason for attracting tourists to visit Macau. From the map, you will find that Macau is really small. If you look closely, you probably miss it. But small also has its benefits - every step is a attraction, it is suitable for tourists like to stroll. Macao’s economy may not be as good as Hong Kong or a shopping paradise, but its rich colonial atmosphere and quiet and laid-back atmosphere attract tourists. For more than 400 years, Portugal’s colonial rule over Macao has infiltrated Macao in all its aspects. Eastern and western cultures blend with each other, leaving many historical and cultural heritage to make Macau a unique city. (The names in the text, food names, etc. are all Portuguese, for ease of reading, some have been amended to correspond to English, should pay attention to reading.) Here, everything is expected, but also unexpected. Taking advantage of the anniversary of the return of Macao (December 20), let us work together to explore the other side of Macau.
