应该把所在的艺术形式都放到同一个平台上去看,前卫艺术,应该说是一种观念艺术,有些作品并不纯粹是为了欣赏。在中国,前卫艺术没有真正地发展起来,许多中国的前卫艺术家纷纷到国外去发展,在美国,有些非常有名气的年轻的前卫艺术家就是中国人。前卫艺术涉及到了方方面面的问题,如果能对一种艺术行为在平等条件下做出相应评价,那就会很客观。前卫艺术实际上是艺术家自身的生命实践,是要检验生命能否突破禁区,能否突破生命极限。有许多体育项目也是在表现这种挑战。
We should put all our art forms on the same platform. Avant-garde art should be regarded as a conceptual art. Some works are not purely for appreciation. In China, avant-garde art did not really develop, many of China’s avant-garde artists have to go abroad to develop in the United States, some very famous young avant-garde artists are Chinese. The avant-garde art involves all aspects of the problem, and it would be objective if one can evaluate the art form under equal conditions. Avant-garde art is actually the artist’s own life practice, is to test whether life can break the restricted area, can exceed the limit of life. There are many sports are also showing this challenge.
