这篇文章是王揖同志8月末交本刊的。当这期刊物即将付印的时候,突然传来他于9月22日晚八时三十分不幸逝世的噩耗。此文竟成了他的遗作。王揖同志系四川阆中人,终年六十七岁,1937年参加革命,1938年加入中国共产党;后历任新中华报、延安解放日报编辑,东北日报副总编辑、总编辑、副社长,人民日报副总编辑,中宣部新闻局局长,全国记协常务副主席、党组副书记。王揖同志是第六届全国政协委员。王揖同志是我党的优秀新闻工作者,他为党的新闻事业鞠躬尽瘁。对于他的逝世,我们表示深切哀悼。
This article is Wang Lei comrades submitted to the end of August. When the issue was about to print, a sudden sad news of his untimely death at 8.30 pm on September 22 was reported. This article has become his legacy. Comrade Wang Wei was a member of Sichuan Langzhong, who was 67 years old. He joined the revolution in 1937 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1938. He served successively as the editor of the Xinzhonghua Daily and Yan’an Jiefang Daily, and deputy editor-in-chief, editor-in-chief, vice president and people of Northeast Daily News Deputy editor in chief of the daily newspaper, director of the Information Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, standing vice chairman of the National Association of Record Writers and vice secretary of the party group. Comrade Wang Mi is the member of the 6th CPPCC National Committee. Comrade Wang Kui is an excellent journalist of our party and has devoted himself to the party’s journalism. We express our deep condolences for his death.
