本文首先对汉语中“目录”与“书目”二术语产生、发展的过程进行了简略回顾,其后重点阐述二术语在实际运用中的同异之处。结论为:“目录”与“书目”二术语都可表群书目录与一书目录之意,有时可以通用,但在一些具体的语言环境中,二术语时常又存在不可互换的情况,并带有一定的规律性。 This article first briefly reviews the process of the emergence and development of the two terms “catalog” and “bibliography” in Chinese, and then focuses on the similarities and differences between the two terms in their practical application. The conclusion is that the terms “catalog” and “bibliography” can be used to represent the contents of a group book and the catalog of a book. Sometimes they can be used universally. However, in some specific linguistic environments, the two terms often are not interchangeable With a certain regularity.
