图式理论自提出以来,多应用于研究阅读理解等心理过程。图式理论的重要意义是:过去的经验知识能够帮助学习者理解和整合新获得的知识。因此,本文将图式理论应用于多媒体环境下英语听力的教学中,希望通过激活听者具有的相关背景知识的相应图式,引导其加速听力理解过程。多媒体环境下,图式理论对听力教学的作用发挥得更加明显,为学生提供丰富的背景知识,提供或激活贮存在大脑中的已有图式,并提高学生的预测能力。
Since the proposal of schema theory, it has been applied to the study of psychological processes such as reading comprehension. The significance of schema theory is that past experience knowledge can help learners understand and integrate newly acquired knowledge. Therefore, this paper applies the schema theory to the teaching of English listening in the multimedia environment and hopes to accelerate the process of listening comprehension by activating the corresponding schema of relevant background knowledge that the listener has. Under the multimedia environment, schema theory plays a more significant role in listening teaching, provides students with rich background knowledge, provides or activates existing patterns stored in the brain, and improves students’ prediction ability.
