翻开各种报刊,常常看到“更正”、“重要更正”一类的启事,简直形成一股“更正风”了。为什么要“更正”?无非是因为以前播发或刊登的新闻、文章有错误,需要改正。有错误的报纸、刊物和书籍印好发行出去,早已在社会上造成不良影响。有些读者看不到这些“更正”启事,不良影响就根本无法挽回了。这是一个不容忽视的问题。现在全国各行各业的工作,都在提高质量。希望新闻战线上的同志们,以对党、对人民事业高度负责的精神,建立和健全各项规章制度,千方百计减少差错,切实杜绝各种错误,少来些“更正”。 Opening various newspapers and periodicals and often noticing “corrections” and “important corrections” just formed a “rectification trend.” Why should “correct”?
