金路公司的前身是四川省树脂总厂。1989年4月经政府有关部门批准,在原四川省树脂总厂的基础上进行股份制改造试点,经过几年的规范运作,中国证监会批准公司股票于1993年5月在深圳上市交易。从1988年开始,通过兼并、改造、分离、合并等措施,金路公司现在拥有生产性企业6个、经营性公司4个,科研设计单位1个,服务性公司1个,共计12个子公司。全公司现有职工3300余人,其中专业技术人员480多人,资产总额1990年为1.05亿元,1994年达到5.17亿元,四年增加了五倍。实现利润1986年以前,濒临亏损,1991改制前一年也仅有利润560万元,股票上市后,1993年达到利润总额3740.5万元,1994年达到5018万元。四年利润增长8倍多。1994年金路公司被国家经贸委列为国家大型二档企业。回顾公司从1986年到1994年公司由一个处于亏损边缘的国有企业,到现在一年实现利润5000万以上盈
