在光纤通信系统中,采用具有雪崩增益的光电二极管——APD管(以下简称APD),来作为光信号检测器,可以大大提高光接收机的灵敏度,从而延长中继距离。APD管要求有几十伏至上百伏的偏置电压源才能工作,因此必须有一个专门装置来把整机12伏电源变换成所需要的电源。本文所介绍的电路,可以把12伏直流电源变换成0~200伏连续可调的直流高压电源。电路十分简单、工作可靠、体积小巧、省电,不仅适用于光终端机,也可以用于光中继器。单独装在一个小盒内,还可以作为对APD管进行测试的电源用。在两年多的实际使用中,获得了较好的效果。
In the optical fiber communication system, APD tube (APD) with avalanche gain is used as the optical signal detector, which can greatly improve the sensitivity of the optical receiver and thus extend the relay distance. APD tubes require a few tens of volts to hundreds of volts of bias voltage source to work, so there must be a special device to the whole 12-volt power conversion to the required power.
