食盐加碘防治碘缺乏病(IDD)已被世界各国所接受,食用碘盐是防治IDD最有效、经济、安全、适用、简便的措施。我省是IDD流行较严重的省份,受IDD危害的人口达2500万。从1958年开始全省使用1/2万碘化钾食盐,1983年达到基本控制指标之后一直狠抓碘盐浓度和质量,碘盐浓度几经变化,到1995年全民开始供应40mg/kg碘酸钾食盐,碘盐质量不断提高,人群尿碘水平明显上升。为了观察完全以食盐加碘,而不采取其它任何补碘措施,能否起到控制IDD病情的目的,现将我省原国家监测点1992、1993、1996年监测结果分析如下。
