在镁热还原法生产海绵锆的过程中,由还原炉中得到的海绵锆混有氯化镁及残余的镁。在正常情况下,真空蒸馏一次就可以把这两种杂质清除掉。但是实际生产中由于多种因素的影响,常常出现杂质元素氯、镁过量而造成废品的情况。据某厂连续生产九个月的统计,因氯、镁元素过量而造成的废品占28.5%。把这类不合格的海绵锆进行第二次真空蒸馏处理,在工厂中称之为“返蒸”。生产上常常出现这样的情况:经过返蒸后的海绵锆,氯、镁的含量合格,但气体杂质氧、氮的含量却又过高,成为废品。为解决这个问题,探讨合理的返蒸工艺是十分必要的。
During the production of sponge zirconium by the magnesium reduction method, the sponge zirconium obtained from the reduction furnace is mixed with magnesium chloride and residual magnesium.
