南石洋大峡谷森林公园所属山系为太行山山脉北京西山,主峰海拔1548米,位于京西雁翅镇马套村西北,东至:马套村村口,南至:峰窝至马家套的乡间道北,西至:门头沟区与河北怀来县交界,北至:笔架山下门头沟区与河北怀来县交界。规划总面积2123.8公顷,林地面积1939.2公顷,森林覆盖率达91.3%。森林公园的地质主要有元古界震旦系、古生界寒武系、奥陶系、石灰系,以及中生界侏罗系和新生界第四系等,岩石种类比较齐全,包括多种沉积岩、变质岩和火成岩。
The southern part of the Grand Canyon Forest Park in the south is the Xishan Mountain in the Taihang Mountains. Its main peak is 1,548 meters above sea level. It is located in the northwest of MaTai village in the wild goose town of west Beijing, east to the village of MaTao village and to the south of the village Road north, west: Mentougou district and Huailai County, Hebei border, north to: Beacon Hill, Beitou District and Hebei Huailai County at the junction. The total planned area of 2123.8 hectares, 1939.2 hectares of forest area, the forest coverage rate of 91.3%. The main geological park of the Proterozoic Sinian, Paleozoic Cambrian, Ordovician, limestone, and the Mesozoic Jurassic and Cenozoic Quaternary, etc., relatively complete rock types, including a variety of Sedimentary rocks, metamorphic rocks and igneous rocks.
