徒手切片,是切片中最简单的一种。制作时不需要特殊设备,简便易行,适用于基层科研单位的研究或中等学校的示范教学。适于制作徒手切片的植物材料有双子叶草本植物的根、茎、叶柄、幼嫩木质枝条顶端以及普通植物的叶子。这种方法不适用于非常柔软、水分过多及坚硬的材料。制作方法切取茎或叶柄的一小段,长约2厘米。以左手的拇指和食指夹住材料,食指横向稍高,拇指稍低,材料比食指略高或近于等高。右手横握
