近几十年来,美国无核葡萄除制干外,用于生食有所增加。因无籽食用方便,在生食葡萄中普遍受到欢迎。所以一些部门在生食葡萄选育中,把无核、大粒、有色、早熟及抗逆性作为主要有种目标。加利福尼亚州、纽约州和阿肯色州多年来一直进行葡萄无核品种选育,并培育出不少无核新品种。现将他们从1970年以来发表的无核葡萄新品种简介如下:
In recent decades, U.S. non-nuclear grapes have been used for raw food production in addition to being dry. Because of the convenience of seedless eating, it is generally welcomed in raw grapes. Therefore, some departments in the raw grapes breeding, the non-nuclear, large grain, colored, precocious and resistance as a major target. California, New York State and Arkansas have been conducting seedless grapes breeding programs for many years and have developed a number of new seedless varieties. Here is a brief description of the new varieties of seedless grapes they have published since 1970:
