根据实地考察研究结果 ,185 0年西昌地震地表形变带全长约 90km。现存的地表破裂形迹有地震断层、地震裂缝、地震沟槽、地堑、地震陷坑、冲沟及山脊位错、崩塌滑坡等。最大左旋水平位错 5 7m ,垂直位错3 8m。形变带严格沿则木河断裂展布。该次地震的发震构造应为则木河断裂 ,震级M≥ 7 5级。
According to the results of the field investigation, the total length of the surface deformation zone of the Xichang earthquake in 2005 was about 90 km. The existing surface rupture has seismic faults, seismic fractures, seismic trenches, graben, seismic craters, gully and ridge dislocations, landslides and the like. The maximum left-lateral horizontal dislocation 5 7m, vertical dislocation 38m. Deformation zone strictly along the Zemu River fracture distribution. The seismogenic structure of this earthquake should be the Muhe fault with M ≥ 7 5 magnitude.
