The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology&Metabolism杂志。
Since patients with body mass index (BMI) <18 kg / m2 are often excluded, the relationship between BMI and diabetes mortality in previous studies does not necessarily reflect the overall population. To this end, Professor Hirohito Sone from the School of Public Health, University of Tokyo, Japan, and his team conducted a study to investigate the relationship between BMI and mortality in patients with type 2 diabetes. The findings are published online in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism on September 9, 2014. In this study, Prof. Sone et al. Conducted a meta-analysis of 6.3-year follow-up data of 2 620 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Japan in the study of complications of diabetic complications and Japanese elderly patients with diabetes mellitus, excluding cardiovascular diseases
