在冶炼过程中发现高炉炉底的粘土砖或炭砖往往由于铁水渗入砖缝或裂缝而被浮起,炉底浸蚀很厉害.产生裂缝的主要原因是炉底受热不匀,中间的温度较高,但是有冷却装置的炉底浸蚀较小。因此在捷尔任斯基工厂决定在608m~3高炉上试用一种新的炉底结构。这种结构的特点(见图):1.炉底用炭砖砌筑(一直砌到渣口位置);炉缸其他部份和炉腹仍用粘土砖砌。2.炉底外表面及内表面均成球面状结构,其厚度为1600mm,炉缸砌衬厚1200mm。
