近日,由中科院武汉病毒研究所研制的生物杀蚊幼剂产品在中科院武汉植物园成功应用,取得了良好的杀蚊效果,有效解决了植物园蚊虫密度大难以控制这一难题。近年来,植物园加强了水生植物的培育与展示,园区内布置了荷花睡莲展示区、水生生态展示区、兰花岛及湿地植物区等,水域面积很大,同时园区内循环水系终年不干枯,绿色植物丰富,为蚊虫孳生栖息提供了条件,造成了蚊虫种群高密度发生,严重影响到园区环境和游客游览质量。
