2016年8月15日,摄影师曹梦芹与方霄鹤作为驻地艺术家参与它山堰工作营项目。它山堰村位于浙江省宁波市鄞州区鄞江镇,以始建于唐代(883年)的水利灌溉工程它山堰而得名。他们通过影像来与历史对话、与景物对话。英国人包腊任宁波海关税务司期间(1858-1864)留下了超过两百张宁波地区的照片影像,其中有三张摄于它山堰。曹梦芹与方霄鹤的拍摄正是发端于这三张照片,既是对包腊摄影技法、日常观察的延续,也可以看作是这些历史影像在百余年后的一个回响——它藉由彼时的
On August 15, 2016, photographers Cao Mengqin and Fang Xiaohe participated as a resident artist in its mountain weir camp project. Its mountain village is located in Yinjiang Town, Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, named after its weir which was founded in the Tang Dynasty (883) for irrigation works. They use images to talk with history and dialogue with the scene. During the British Customs and Excise Department’s assignment to Ren Ningbo Customs and Taxation Department (1858-1864), there were over 200 photos of Ningbo area, of which three were taken on its weir. The shooting of Cao Mengqin and Fang Xiaohe originated from these three pictures. It is not only a continuation of daily photography but also a reverberation of these historical images over a hundred years later -
