In the minds of people, erhu performers usually sit and play, and mainly pull traditional Chinese music or play erhu tailor-made music, it seems rare to see erhu performers like singers generally on the stage back and forth Walking with erhu playing popular songs or pop music. Wen Jinlong in Taiwan is indeed a “rebellious” erhu performer. Liu Changfu, a famous erhu instructor and professor at the Central Conservatory of Music, once talked with reporters about Wen Jinlong in Taiwan. He rates Wen Jinlong like this: "He used the modernist pop track of the Beaujolais, behind which he was accompanied by a jazz band, standing on the violins and pulling while walking, the formal, transplanted, popular track Dora, very popular with viewers Welcomed the audience and narrowed the distance between the audience and he found pop music popularized more than the singer singing, so it simply popularized it.Although some people say he is ’Shanghai School’, ’outside the school’ However, because of Wenjinlong, both men, women and children in Taiwan like the erhu, some denied him, but at least he popularized the erhu and made a lot of people like the erhu, and I think he has contributed to it.
