几乎是所有的矿井都要进行矿井排水,以解决地表水、地下水渗入或流入矿井的问题。矿井排水量的大小与煤层开采的水文地质条件、开采方法、防治水的技术方法、管理水平有关,一般以吨煤含水系数表示。据不完全统计,全国煤矿吨煤含水系数为7 m~3,而水量比较大的河南焦作矿务局吨煤含水系数为60 m~3。1983年焦作矿务局矿井总排水量平均为512m~3/min,
