By a series of experiment of imagine analysis, capillary pressure curve analysis and so on, microscopicpore structure characteristics are revealed in braided channel reservoir in Group Guantao in Qudi oilfield,Jiyang depression, Bohaiwan Basin and models of pore structure are built. The types of pore includeprimary pore, secondary pore and so on, and there are two main kinds of pore strUcture, including bigpore and fine throat, middle pore and middle throat. Porosity and permeability in sample size have a goodcorrelation with pore throat size and characteristics of flow movement in pore-throat space. In addition,permeability in sample size has a good relationship with parameters representing sorting characteristics ofpore-throat. The oil displacement efficiency is controlled by reservoir petrophysics. If reservoir hasnormal characteristic, for example, porosity is from 20% to 25%, the oil displacement efficiency is high.If reservoir has porosity greater than 25%, especially up to 34%, the oil displacement efficiency is gettingless and less. So there are a lot of remaining oil in high porosity reservoir.
