多菌灵用于防治小麦赤霉病,不仅是特效的保护剂,也是良好的治疗剂.但由于长期来加工剂型不良和施药技术落后,药效潜力尚未得到充分发挥.加以有效施药部位只要求在穗部,常规有效喷雾的单位面积耗水量比理论需要量大十多倍,造成工效低,药剂浪费大,难做到适期防治,经济效益不高.为了探求改进途径,1977~1982年进行了多菌灵加工剂型和低水量弥雾施药技术的研究,取得初步结果.
