1955年生,北京人。中国国家画院研究员,中国国家画院邢少臣导师高研班导师,国家一级美术师,中国美术家协会会员,中国画学会理事,中国艺术研究院特聘研究员。作为当代画坛大写意花鸟画领军人物之一的邢少臣,以其深厚的传统功力和热情如火的创造力,开拓了新时期花鸟绘画的新疆域。他在水墨语言的探索上选择了更加朴素、单纯的形式。然而,他作品的意象和传达出的精神却是格外丰富与充盈的。这便是邢少臣之于当代画坛的意义。
