Infection with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) causes diminished human defenses, causing opportunistic infections in the human body, causing new immune-related organisms, anemia, myositis and arthritis. In the past three years, the authors counted the muscle performance of 45 HIV-infected patients. HIV was positive in all patients and was diagnosed with Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Patients aged 14 months to 61 years old, 40 males and 5 females. Of these, 19 had bone infections, including 8 osteomyelitis, 7 bacillary angiomas, 4 suppurative arthritis, 10 bacterial myositis, 7 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and 5 MRI bone marrow Showed low signal; 2 Kaposi sarcomas; 1 polymyositis and 1 psoriasis. Understanding the different abnormalities in the musculoskeletal system is crucial in determining the patient’s treatment and estimating its morbidity and mortality.
