流通服务工作是图书馆的一个门面,是图书馆的一个重要部门。因为它直接面对读者,也是读者能直接感觉和体验到的一种服务。正因如此,流通服务窗口也就成为读者评价图书馆服务的焦点,也是图书馆与读者之间矛盾集中的地方。根据笔者多年在图书馆工作的经历得出一点体会,流通服务窗口应注重馆员形象。馆员形象主要包括语言形象和体态形象:
