传统中国绘画与西方绘画用光艺术存在较大的差异,达与中西方在哲学与艺术方面的不同是分不开的。中国人坚持“天人合一”的宇宙观,因此中国绘画追求描绘物象本源的、内在的光,以表达其生命个体的存在形式。中国传统山水画中的光元素依附于中国绘画笔墨之中,通过阴阳虚实等因素传达出独特的审美内涵。中国山水画对光的运用,也体现了中国传统文化“知白守黑”的美学思想。“知白守黑”是中国画的典型特征之一,是一种独特的艺术语言。
