中国传统文化中蕴含着丰富的治国理政思想,包括传统的民本思想、法治思想、德治思想、群体意识与和谐思想等,这些传统的治国理政思想,对维护和发展团结统一的多民族国家起了重要作用。中国共产党执政以来,吸收和借鉴了古代传统政治思想,形成了中国特色的执政理念,为人类政治文明做出了重要贡献。新形势下,深入挖掘中国传统治国思想,对于提高党的执政能力,尤其是对于依法治国与以德治国相结合的治国方略和科学执政、民主执政与依法执政的执政理念提供有益借鉴。
