目前,在育种机构中评定水稻样品的加工性质,常采用下列的一些指标:干粒重,谷壳率,胚乳透明度,碎米率,谷粒的长、宽、厚度,长度比率,总出米率和整精米率。确定后面的两个指标是很繁重的一项工作,因为子粒的去壳和碾磨,必须要有高档的专门技术装置才能进行(Пур和Sata-ke型装置)。因此,地方性科研所和育种站,因实验技术设备的缺乏,对原始材料和新品种的这些极重要性状指标的评定工作难以进行。但在有这种设备的科研机构中,对少量原始材料样品或杂交品系以及有种早期的选株,要进行多项指标的评定。评定时要求子粒不少于100克,通常要在繁殖后和育种程序结束时,到达其品比试验阶
