贵州省丹寨县青年农民杨乔勇几年前的生活并不富裕,2001年3月他开始参加跨世纪青年农民科技培训,不仅学到了许多新的种植业实用技术,而且从思想观念上得到了更新。杨乔勇利用所学的种植业及果树栽培技术,在承包的土地上种植大秋作物的同时,种果种菜,修建山塘鱼池,进行土地综合利用,率先建成一片农业立体开发示范园,依靠科技走上脱贫致富之路。
