无线局域网络传输距离一般为100m以内,宽讯时代利用点对点无线桥接技术却使相距36km的湖州航管处和南洵航管站实现互联。这就是浙江省湖州市内河航运管理局下属的湖州航管处和异地的湖州航管站、三里桥航管站、南洵航管站之间完成联网后达到的应用效果。以上四地有线网络系统通过无线桥接连接起来,使原有线局域网和无线桥接网无缝连接。航运管理局的远程监控系统和数据库管理系统最终成功运行在新的‘有线+无线’的混合网络系统上。
