民国时期,西医东渐日盛,各种传播主体利用报刊等现代传媒把西医知识、卫生观念和医疗制度传入中国。上海以其得天独厚的优势成为全国性西医传播中心。它的形成不是偶然的,而是多种因素交互影响的结果。其中,相对繁荣的社会经济、良好的文化区位优势、租界先进卫生管理经验的启迪、南京政府卫生政策的调控导引、学校社团和知识精英的努力都直接影响西医的传播生态、传播模式、受众规模以及传播效果。
During the period of the Republic of China, Western medicine was flourishing and all kinds of communication agents used the modern media such as newspapers and magazines to transmit the knowledge of western medicine, concepts of health and the medical system into China. Shanghai has become a national center of western medicine dissemination with its unique advantages. Its formation is not accidental, but the result of the interaction of many factors.
