本文总结了鞍钢卅多年来在炼钢技术方面的发展和取得的成果。从1952年至1966年主要依靠平炉扩装和相应的工艺改革以增产钢。1965年开始发展氧气炼钢。1970年后,鞍钢自建了两座150t氧气顶吹转炉。此外,在铸锭设备、操作工艺方面,也进行了一系列改革,钢的品种、质量有了很大的发展。但由于“十年动乱”发展速度受到一定影响。1978年后鞍钢炼钢技术有了新的发展,如扩大低合金钢的生产,转炉实行复合吹炼,钢包喷射冶金的发展,模铸采用绝热板提高成材率等,但是大部分设备和工艺仍然比较落后,在鞍钢新的技术改造时期,像连铸、炉外精炼等新工艺不久必将会发展起来。
