矿物粒料比面积的侧定,对于某些生产实践和科学研究工作,均具有一定的重要意义。例如在水泥工叶中研究生料的煆烧过程、水泥的水化和硬化速度、研究改变土的物理——化学性质时所需有机或无机结合料掺和量的多寡等,均与粒料比面积的大小有关。目前在许多科学研究部门中,已经制定并且运用了多种侧定粒料比面积的方法,但各种方法所测得的结果并不一致,即使采用同一方法,有时所得的结果亦相差很大。本文建议采用颗粒分析的方法来间接计算粒料的比面积,这样可不必借助于专门的仪器设备和实验,而计算的方法也很简单。本文所导出的计算公式,是以几何平均粒径作为一级重量中颗粒的平均粒径为基础,不仅使计算的精度较高,且使公式简单,计算简易。此外,并为砂和土壤分别导出一般通用的具体算式。
