In the field of agricultural cooperation betweenChina and Africa, one project stands out abovethe many others. Initiated by Chinese andKenyan governments in 1995, the China-KenyaHigher Education Cooperation Program wasestablished to promote education cooperation inagricultural development between two countries.After the government-to-government programended, the project was continued and shifted toindependent cooperation between the two universities- Nanjing Agriculture University (NAU)in China and Egerton University in Kenya.
