英语通用语理论(English as a Lingual Franca)自上世纪80年代以来不断发展,它对英美英语变体权威地位和本族语者主义的挑战,以及对中国高校英语专业的学生提高英语口语水平具有现实意义。通过简明介绍英语通用语理论,总结目前该理论在中国高校英语教学中的探索,探讨现在英语专业学生口语教学存在的问题,并提出基于此理论对英语专业口语教学内容上的建议,望能够让英语专业的学生更有效率地进行口语学习和练习。
English as a Lingual Francaise has evolved since the 1980s. It has challenged the authoritative status of Anglo-American English variants and native speakers, as well as raised the standard of spoken English for English majors in colleges and universities in China. Realistic meaning. This article summarizes the present theories in English teaching in colleges and universities in China by briefly introducing the theory of common language and summarizes the existing problems of Oral English teaching in present-day English majors. At the same time, it puts forward suggestions on how to make oral English teaching based on this theory. English majors make spoken language learning and practice more efficiently.
